Every number on this site can be traced, and every change a person made to it is listed here, newest first.
How the numbers are kept
- Completed seasons were checked by hand against public records and are locked. No automatic job can change them.
- The season in progress is refreshed by a weekly search that may only add a match or fill a blank. It never overwrites a stored score or goal.
- A wrong stored number is fixed by a person, with a reason and a source, and the fix is logged below. A later entry can undo an earlier one; nothing is edited in silence.
- Under every block of numbers a line says where they came from and when they last changed. How this site works has the rest.

The same log is open data: /api/v1/corrections gives every corrected cell with its old and new value, the reason, the source, who and when, newest first, in pages. Each corrected number in the match log downloads names its source. Only the site's maintainers can add to the log.

Spotted a score, a minute or a goal that looks off? Email us and the message is already addressed, or write to [email protected] with the page and what it should say. Every match page has the same link under its numbers. We would rather be corrected than be confidently wrong.
